Party Organization
By State law, (LA RS 18:442) the Libertarian Party of Louisiana (LPL) is officially governed by a State Central Committee* (SCC) and Parish Executive Committees.(PECs)
In addition to this required organization, the LPL has created additional standing committees to support ongoing party efforts and to manage day-to-day party business.
Each parish which is organized with a PEC is considered an official Sub-Affiliate of the LPL. (the LPL is a State Affiliate of the Libertarian Party USA) Additionally, campus and other liberty oriented organizations may be granted official Sub-Affiliate status.

* The LPL calls it's State Central Committee a "Board of Directors" since we find the terminology in the law to have a communist ring to it which we find inappropriate for a free society.
